Brief: To create a new destination night club, with in the iconic FIVE Jumeirah Village Hotel. The client wanted the space to feel like a Mansion constantly taken over for a party.

For this project I was Project Lead working alongside an FF&E designer. The ‘Mansion Party’ concept drove all of our design process and allowed us to tell a story through every interior detail. To achieve this we drew inspiration from celebrity rapper’s opulent houses and lavish sets, such as the infamous Scarface Mansion. Scaling up classic interior details such as sweeping stairs, moulded panelling and gilded artwork. We also looked at historic design periods such as classical Greek architecture to get ideas for decorative detailing and proportions. This is one of my favourite projects I have worked on, due the the creative freedom it allowed.
