Brief: To create the first location outside of London for the Cabana Restaurant. 

 

This was an interesting project working with a well established brand and evolving their product into something unique for the new Saudi Arabian location. Cabana restaurants serve Latin American BBQ. Their other locations always include lots of colour and texture inspired by the vibrancy of Brazil and its street food scene. For this new site we wanted to bring a bit of the Brazilian rainforest to Riyadh, so planned the space around two large tree installations. The greenery spread over the ceiling, creating a canopy which we could then integrate lots of fun lighting and objects into. The poster wall was another key element which covered the whole back wall of the space. We utilised the Restaurants archive of Brazilian posters and integrated a large neon piece.
