PENNYHILL PARK HOTEL MEETING ROOMS_
BAGSHOT

Brief: To bring new life into the meeting rooms spaces at the Hotel and create a new meeting suite with breakout space.

The client wanted to celebrate the stories of Nepalese mountaineering in these spaces. With rooms named after Junko Tabei, Tenzing Norgay and Nimal Purja. We used the FF&E to give nods to the stories whilst being in keeping with the historical style of the Hotel.

In the Junko room for example,  I liked the story that there is both an asteroid and a mountain range on Pluto named after her mountaineering achievements. We therefore used stars shapes as an emblem that featured in the lighting and table. Her father was a Printer, so we wanted to create a wallpaper that was an abstracted mountain range, but felt like a large printed piece.

I lead all parts of this project from concept development through to FF&E specifications and joinery design.
