Brief: To refurbish wedding event spaces with a new nature inspired theme linked to the Hotel. The spaces needed to be much more narrative, better lit and feel more luxury.

I lead all parts of this project from concept development through to FF&E specifications and joinery design. The Hotel has many existing historical features to be considered and worked into the new interior design. The aim was to create spaces that felt refreshed, with strong narratives linked to the Hotel. A fairly neutral pallette was wanted by the client, however we had freedom to create some bespoke elements such as a carpet design and lighting. There wasn't much joinery in this space, however the bar was a new addition, created by knocking through an existing wall. It was a challenging piece of joinery, as had to be able to be closed off and blend in with existing panelling around the room.
