HORN INSTALLATION_FIVE ZURICH HOTEL_

Brief: To design a large scale installation, inspired by Swiss alphorns. The installation needed to be multiple stories high, emerging through an existing hole in the balcony. It needed to be the wow moment driving up to the hotel and create a spectacle from the bedrooms.

For this piece I developed the initial design for the horn installation, to be manufactured and detailed by a local Artist. I used SketchUp to develop the form of the horns, overall dimensions and layout of the elements. It was an exciting project to see come to life, due to its scale and impact in the Hotel.
